Voyager 2 is about to enter Interstellar space

NASA's Voyager 2 is about to enter Interstellar space.

Voyager 2 space probe is currently heading towards interstellar space at a maximum speed of 57,890 km/h. Since 2007 it has been travelling through Heliosphere (region of space with solar wind and magnetic fields around the Sun) and now Voyager scientists are monitoring the probe to enter outer layer of heliosphere (heliopause).
How do scientists know that Voyager 2 is about to enter interstellar space?
The high and low energy particle detectors on Voyager 2 have detected increase in higher-energy cosmic rays. Similar higher energy cosmic rays were detected by Voyager 1 in 2011 when it entered Interstellar space.
According to Voyager Project Scientist Ed Stone, we are still unsure when it is going to enter but a lot more information is expected to come this month.
